Kojak's Week 1 NFL Selections

Preseason was a little rough but now that the dress rehearsal is over, its time to get back to my winning ways.

Kojak Killers:

Jets/Bengals over 41 - I look for a lot of offense in this one with two secondaries who are very vulnerable. I expect total points to reach 50+. (WIN)

Minnesota -4 Randy Moss has simply owned the Cowboys in the past. Vikes also looking to erase bad taste from season ending loss to Cards. Dallas may be good at some point but believe they run into buzzsaw in this one.
Vikings 35 Cowboys 10 (WIN)

Kansas City +3- Broncos are having trouble in their offensive line and Guenther's blitzing defense will create havoc on Jake Plummer. Alex Gibbs now in Atlanta and it will show as he was also the key in why running game has been good. Chiefs start roll back to playoffs in big road win.
Kansas City 27 Broncos 17

Upset Specials:

Tampa Bay +2.5 - Joe welcome back to the NFL but like his first season in 81, he may not win until week 6. Difference in this one Tampa defense with Brooks and Barber.
Tampa Bay 20 Redskins 17 (LOSS)

San Francisco +3.5- Falcons have been lethargic in preseason. 49ers may surprise in Nfc west as defense is very underrated. Mora may know this personnel but always tough for 1st time head coach to win first game especially on the road, 3000 miles from home, and throwing in against former team.
San Francisco 19 Atlanta 14 (WIN)

Detroit +3- The streak stops here! The stars are finally aligned. Bears Lovie coaching first game. Bears qb Grossman in only 4th start. New offesive system. Unproven receivers. Lions simply have too much offense for Chicago.
Detroit 31 Chicago 20 (WIN)

Other games:

Arizona +11 (WIN)
Seattle -2.5 (WIN)
Pittsburgh over 41.5 (WIN)
Pittsburgh -4.5 (LOSS)
Philly over 42 (WIN)
